Gurkhas live in diverse geographical regions in Nepal and this is reflected on foods we serve at the restaurant. The use of fresh herbs and spices, many of which are unique to Nepalese cooking, are prepared in the "khal" (stone mortar), rather than powders used in other Asian cusines.
The heart of a Nepali meal is "daal bhat" (rice and lentils) and "achar" (chutney) with other main dishes thus achieving the ultimate meal. Gurkha Corner Restaurant presents a gastronomic experience, which is prepared with great care and attention and has no room for short cut methods.
